History: Kahinat Rackham is a textbook example of someone who forges her own path. The fates had a different plan in the beginning. Kahinat was the daughter of a ship builder, and it was this boyish lifestyle and growing up without her mother that led to trouble when her father remarried. The stepmother sought to tame Kahinat by settling her down with a husband.
Kahinat refused the proposal but when her father gave her no choice. Kahinat, with the memory of her mother guiding her, decided to renounce the marriage and escaped her fate by boarding a ship.
It was a miracle that she never was caught. The superstitions about women being bad luck while on a ship were well known and Georgiana made it to the Caribbean without bringing bad weather to the vessel that she stowed away in.
Fortune smiled upon her in this new place and soon Kahinat befriended an expelled member of the community there; a man who knew the African black magic. He took care of her and took her under his wing. People saw him as a freak and a threat to their children, but having been shunned herself Kahinat listened to him and stayed close. He was wise and often told her of his travels and the trades he would make.
Kahinat grew into a beautiful woman, and gained a certain style in the dialect there while her mentor used his negotiating abilities in bargain foods. However the old man died bequeathing her an old peasant cottage.
Kahinat at 19 years old and alone decided to take life into her hands in the male disguise, as the deckhand on a merchant ship. The ship was headed for Jamaica where she heard that her family had moved, now at the name of Huganhay, because the stepmother got married again. Wanting to take revenge for the harmful experience of her childhood Kahinat worked on the precise plan to destroy the new family of Melissa Abberweight.
However the wheel of fortune spun in a different direction. The ship was attacked by the pirate ship Schooner. Almost all the sailors were killed and the pirates soon discovered that one deckhand was a woman in fact. Kahinat, in great danger, challenged the captain to a duel. The captain accepted with great joy despite the disbelief of his crew. However pirates - bored with their long voyage - decided to give the girl a chance; she will gain this life for herself or she will die they thought. Due to her smarts and agility Kahinat Rackham managed to kill the captain and was immediately accepted into the crew.
The next day Schooner came across the warship Frigate and Kahinat led them for the attack. The battle was a success and they overtook the vessel, at the same time Kahinat took command. She renamed the Frigate "Royal Fortune."
Personality: For 3 years Kahinat led the life of the outcast as the captain of the pirate crew. This crew taught itself to respect her and to listen. Kahinat became quite cruel. She was the only pirate woman on the Caribbean then. Proud, clever, and ruthless, she gained the position she wanted in life and is now waiting for fortune to start giving her wealth that she couldn't imagine and for laughter to return to her soul.
Her character turned very much from the moment when she escaped from the house. Back then she was an unusually loud-mouthed, spitfire of a girl, actually not knowing life. She chose to live at the side of the man who knew black magic and accepted his dark craft as he taught her the dark side of the world as well as the struggle for survival. On the pirate ship she taught herself to use inborn outstanding talents and found the knack for commanding.
Appearance: Kahinat's appearance... She usually puts on a black man's coat, from which her nickname grew (Black Death). Apart from that she is trying always to look good which is result of her origin. Vanity is her main drive.
She has red straight long hair and green colored eyes that slant lightly. This is what gives her a lot of the roguish look. She often wears a hat because she thinks it fits her.

But I think I will change a little bit, because I want to add more action. I want to publish the two stories in Poland so I think that may get more attention.
Thank you!
